Lets ink it up: Recycle challenge
I was picked as the "Players Choice" winner for November's Challenge. This month the Challenge over at Let's Ink It up is "RECYCLE IT"
Most of this layout was made using recycled items. I love the "words of wisdom" I cut out of the coffee cups. |
I cut up my favorite sayings from these cups, then used Tim Holtz ink to add the color. |
I used this leather, canvas, wood letter chips, music paper, pink paint, and a 12x12 piece of cardboard on my layout. The only items I recently purchased for the layout was the black card stock and the 2 sheets of pink paper of Tim Holtz. I even added my daughters heart from a broken necklace, and a left over #4 from a deck of cards. I used a Tim Holtz die for the flourishes cut from the leather, and his flower dies for the canvas. I used 1 black random button and 7 dew drops.
I hope you like to recyle. I have a few friends who drop off their garbage to me...lol I was really exicted when my friend gave me all of this wonderful leather! I can't wait to see what you use to recycle over at Lets-Ink-It-Up |
What a fabulous layout Kimberley and well done for coming up with the recycling theme! Great idea recycling coffee cups, who would have thought they can be a source of such wisdom lol! ;) Thank you for your contribution to LIIU challenge :)) hugs, Joanna xx
